Contracts Connected – Release Notes
This page summarizes major product updates, improvements, and fixes released for the Contracts Connected platform.
Release notes are published periodically to provide transparency about product changes, improvements, and new capabilities.
May 2026
Change Orders
Released Change Orders, giving teams a way to formally modify a contract after it has been executed. Instead of recreating an agreement from scratch when scope or pricing changes, users can issue a change order that documents the adjustment and keeps it tied to the original contract.
Faster Fill & Sign Navigation
Filling out and signing documents is now quicker. New navigation controls let signers move directly from one field to the next, so there is no more hunting for the next place to fill in — especially helpful on longer documents with many fields.
April 2026
Redlines
Released Redlines, the largest feature launch in the platform's history. Redlines brings full contract negotiation into Contracts Connected — vendors can propose changes to a contract directly inside the document, general contractors can review and respond to each change, and every revision is tracked in a single negotiation history.
Capabilities include:
- Vendors propose changes inline on the contract document
- General contractors accept, reject, or counter each change
- Multiple rounds of revisions are tracked with full history across all rounds
- Per-company settings to control how Redlines behave across your organization
Vendor Invitation Improvements
Smarter handling of vendors that already exist in your company network when sending invitations:
- A new vendor import path that automatically adds existing vendors to your network
- Better handling of duplicate-vendor alerts and email-case differences
General Improvements
- Improvements to the contract preview experience
- Continued improvements to merge fields and custom fields, including handling of nested merge fields
- Bug fixes and stability improvements across dashboards, scopes, tasks, and the Redlines workflow
March 2026
Task Forwarding
Released the ability to forward tasks to someone else. A new Forward button is available directly from the dashboard and from the task page, so users can reassign a task to another person in just one step when the work belongs to someone else.
Reminder System Rebuild
Rebuilt the reminder system. Reminders are now available from the dashboard and the task page.
Users can send reminders about pending tasks to members of their own team when a teammate has a task assigned to them, and also to people from other companies, giving a single way to nudge anyone involved in a pending task.
February 2026
Custom Fields and Merge Field Enhancements
Improved template flexibility by enhancing how custom fields and merge fields work together. Users can now place merge fields inside custom fields and also use nested merge fields (merge fields inside other merge fields), enabling more dynamic document templates and more consistent automated document generation.
Infrastructure Improvements
